On Tuesday January 11/24, 2012 the Holy Synod of the Church of the G.O.C. of Greece convened in a regular session at its offices in Athens and reached the following decisions:

1. The discussion of the suggestion of His Eminence Metropolitan Gerontios of Piraeus and Salamina concerning uniform liturgical order continued and the second and final part was approved.
2. Issues concerning the Church of the G.O.C.’s missionary work in Australia were discussed. The hierarchs Gerontios of Piraeus and Photios of Marathon were commissioned to further inquire into these issues and submit a recommendation.
3. Letters were read concerning various issues.
4. It was updated by His Eminence Metropolitan Moses of Portland concerning issues of the Church of the G.O.C. in America and it reached pertinent decisions.
